Our curious and adventurous Primary 1 boys and girls ventured to the school Reco Box and garden to uncover the hidden world of mini beasts!
Armed with magnifying glasses, binoculars and an insatiable curiosity, they ventured into various parts of the garden to investigate the diverse habitats these tiny creatures call home. From the damp, cool underbelly of leaves in wet areas to the sun-baked surfaces of dry patches, our young explorers left no stone unturned.
Their perseverance paid off as they were thrilled to discover and safely catch a variety of mini beasts, including a spider, fly, millipede and slug. This hands-on experience sparked fascinating discussions and provided a unique opportunity to compare the creatures up close, before releasing them back to their homes.
It was an afternoon filled with discovery, learning and fun, reminding us all of the wonders around us!
