At St. Mary's, our Primary 1 pupils have kicked off 'Respect Week' with enthusiasm.
Monday was all about "Having Respect for Others." Each child was encouraged to pay a compliment to a fellow classmate. In return for their kind words, they received a star, fostering an atmosphere of positivity and respect.
Today, the focus shifted to respecting oneself and others through healthy eating. Pupils were asked to bring a nutritious snack to share with their friends. They also had the delightful opportunity to taste a variety of healthy snacks prepared by Mr Herbert and the School Council. This activity not only introduced the children to new flavours but also emphasised the importance of respecting our bodies through a balanced diet.
We are proud of our Primary 1 pupils for embracing the values of respect, kindness, and healthy living.
