Thank you to the Primary 7 Pupils who helped us make St. Brigid's Day crosses. We took them to the chapel and Fr. Hughes blessed them. The St. Brigid's cross is thought to keep evil, fire and hunger from the home in which it is displayed.

Bless every fireside, every wall and door.
Bless every heart that beats beneath its roof.
Bless every hand that toils to bring it joy.
Bless every foot that walks portals through.
Thank you to all the families who were able to bring in rushes. Any leftover rushes were sent to the community hub for the annual making of crosses.
