After our recent trip to Parkanaur, our Primary 1 students have been immersed in the wonders of winter woodlands through play, stories, writing, WAU (World Around Us), and art.
We engaged with the story "Don't Hog the Hedge," learning about hibernation and sorting animals that hibernate from those that don't. We also enjoyed the stories Stickman and The Gruffalo, completing fun writing activities.
Our creative projects included crafting woodland animals from recycled materials. The students have been thoroughly engrossed in small world forest play, bringing their learning to life in imaginative ways.
