Our P2 class had an amazing time celebrating World Book Day! We started the day with play inspired by our favourite stories. Then, we had the opportunity to go to our book sale to pick out some great books.
We then joined other schools in a special Zoom call with Laura Baker, the author of "The Full Stop That Got Away." We got to listen to her read her book before showing us how to do some of the illustrations. After that, we got creative and made bookmarks with our names on them.
To end our exciting day, we snuggled up with cosy blankets and pillows to enjoy a story together. We even had some tea and biscuits to make it extra special. What a wonderful day full of books and fun!
